Apple fanatics were eagerly awaiting the release of this device, and as the product was introduced, queues in front of Apple store started to appear. As expected, Apple once again amused their audiences with this elegant yet functional innovation.
The new LTE-Connectivity is a killer function, and it allows the smartwatch to become more than just a smartphone extension. This means you can still make or receive a phone call and message even if your phone is not nearby or you are not connected to a single Wi-Fi network. Seriously, how cool is that!
Cleary, Apple has broken out of the regular smartwatch system to offer a new experience to their users. On the other side, the rival companies Xiaomi and Fitbit are still stuck on the previous technology to empowered their devices.
However, Apple failed to meet the demand of the customers in the major cities of the world including New York, Shanghai, Tokyo, London, and Amsterdam. In China, customers were pushed away by disruption fiasco in the country.
Despite the fact, Apple exported 800 thousand units of version 3 smartwatch. According to a report, Apple shipped 3.9 million watches (including the previous models), making it the strongest wearable manufacturer for the third quarter. On the counter side, Xiaomi and Fitbit held the second and third place respectively with 3.6 and 3.5 million wearable products.
When the Apple Watch Series 3 first debuted in the market, it had some connectivity issues, which was fixed with a software release a few weeks after its release. Apple’s innovation proved to be the most significant success in the history of wearable technology. Analyst had only predicted a strong Q3 for Apple’s Series 3 smartwatch, but it faced the same back ordering issues as its cousin iPhone X. And as the holiday season is approaching, it would be legit to say that the waves of orders will be at Apple’s doorstep.
With the new waves of smartwatches, consumers will encounter enhanced health-tracking features, better design, increased battery life, and innovative functions. Retailers and vendors across the world are anticipating a much bigger sales figure in the Q4 of 2017.
